-> I can’t make up of something on what they’re trying to say, can you?

4. When we went to the park, she made for swings while I sat on the bench. She seemed to be happy.
[similar] When we went to the park, she made some swings while I sat on the bench and she seemed to be happy.
5. Is she crazy? I can't make her out.
-> Is she crazy? I can't make her to go out.
6. My girlfriend never goes out without any make-up on.
