It's hard to find Hanoks on the streets where there are lots of apartment buildings and villas. But in the Namsan Hanok Village, you can see our traditional houses.

Around Namsan in Joseon Dynasty period they called the place ‘Cheong-Hak dong’.
In the Joseon dynasty, people believe in confucianism, so korean traditional houses were influenced by the confucianism culture.
Hanok has Sarangchae, the place men live and Anchae, the place women live.

In this picture, Sarangchae, is where men lived, in which men studied and also met their visitors. They put another front door in order for the visitors not to see their family
